Meet The Face Behind The Fashion Artist

    Hi, my name is Jenny Slass, and I am a digital fashion Illustrator from New York City/New Jersey Tri-State Area! I have been drawing fashion figures for 10 years now. I started my education at FIT and Parson's Precollege Program when I was only a freshman in high school!

   My first ever media I made my work with was markers. Then I switched to colored pencils and a bit of blending markers. By the time I was a senior in high school, I switched over to water color after learning how to use that specific medium at The Fashion Class in midtown Manhattan. Once I started to go to college, I was introduced to graphic design programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and I fell in love with the idea of designing digitally due to no messes or disorganization! Once I approached my sophomore year in college, I was introduced to the program on the iPad known as Procreate for iOS devices only. That is when I really felt married to the idea of fashion illustrations by technology. Once you go digital, you can't go back!

   I graduated in May 2021 at Centenary University with my BA in Independent Studies with concentrations in Fashion and Social Media Marketing. Ever since then, I have been drawing nonstop and in April 2022, I started posting my fashion figures on instagram to continue practicing my craft of fashion design and marketing myself on social media in a healthy way! My objective is to just be myself, do what I love and let my drawing take me into a happy direction!
